The History of Sunfield Home School

Sunfield Home School opened its doors in 1972 as a care facility for 20 children with special needs. The school was previously farmland owned by the well- known Armstrong family, stalwarts in the area just outside Durban. Under the leadership of Mr. Harding, the school grew to 72 boarders by 1984. Prefab buildings were then installed and were later replaced by brick buildings. Day scholars also joined the school.

New admissions are done throughout the year.
